At Dees Day Nursery we believe that children learn best through play.

We believe that children flourish in a high quality and caring environment and through a child-centred approach, where children are respected as individuals and encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace within a home from home environment.

Active learning is at the heart of our curriculum. Through active learning – acting directly on objects and interacting with people, ideas and events-children construct their own understanding of the world around them. Children are encouraged to follow their own initiatives with the support of a caring and responsive adult and as they do so, they naturally engage in the 7 areas of learning and development highlighted in the EYFS.

At Dees Day Nursery the needs, safety and happiness of the children are of the highest priority. We work together to ensure that we continually enhance our provision to provide a high-quality experience for our children.
