Healthy Eating

At no other time in your life is the adage ‘You are what you eat’ more pertinent than when you’re under five years old.

That’s when your body undergoes the biggest changes and the most rapid periods of growth; when bones, teeth and major organs are still developing and when eating habits and attitudes to food stay with you for life are first formed.

That is why we make sure mealtimes are happy times, where children are encouraged to get involved in preparing food and where children and staff sit down together to a ‘family-style’ meal.

Every meal is carefully planned to meet healthy, balanced nutritional guidelines and prepared fresh each day.

Vegetarian meals and special diets are no problem and if your child has a food allergy or intolerance, we’ll accommodate it with an alternative menu.

Breakfast

Children who arrive prior to 9.00am will be offered cereal.

Mid Morning

10.00am - 10.30am, milk and an assortment from breadsticks, rice cakes and fresh fruit platter

Lunch

11.30am-12.00 noon, a two course lunch.

High Tea

3.30pm - 4.00pm, a drink and a snack
